There are some conspiracy theories that continue to plague us with their mysteries. Whether these conspiracy theories are fact or fiction remains to be found. But, it is nonetheless interesting and even amusing to read about them. Let’s look into some conspiracy theories that have managed to generate immense popularity and in some cases even support from the people.

1) 9/11 Attack

The infamous sight where a plane rammed into the twin towers is unforgettable. The attack was planned and executed by members of the Al-Qaeda on September 11, 2001. However, a lot of people refuse to believe this and still continue to blame the Bush government for the attack, siteing evidence from sources such as photos taken with a Smartphone to top secret documentation. A lot of documentaries and news articles came afloat highlighting the involvement of the U.S. government in the attack. This conspiracy tops the charts and will always continue to live as an unsolved mystery.

2) Princess Diana was not killed in an accident, but murdered by the Royal family.

Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed were killed in a road accident while they were trying to run away from the paparazzi. Some believe that this entire operation was executed by the Royal family as Diana’s then ongoing relationship with Dodi Fayed could have cost a lot of damage to the English throne. It was also believed that the driver’s blood samples that actually tested positive for alcohol were replaced ones.

3) The Apollo moon landing by NASA

This one remains to be the favorite of all conspiracy theories. Since time immemorial, we have been flooded with emails that contain videos about the hoax Apollo Moon landing. However, this has not deterred the popularity of NASA in the slightest bit.

4) Elvis Presley’s death

Elvis Presley died in the year 1977, but his fans believe that he staged his own death. There is so evidence supporting this claim and no reason whatsoever for Presley to stage his own death. It was later brought to light that Presley really died in the mid 1990s, however this too remains a piece of conspiracy without evidence of any fact attached to it.
